What our Sponsors and Supporters Say
“We started out our journey with you as one of the first companies to come on board with the awards and the reaction we have had has been fantastic. It’s opened up all kinds of opportunities and conversations for us, and having our category’s winner, Sarah Cressall, crowned National Entrepreneur of the Year really was the icing on the cake.”
“The opportunity to be a nominee, or even winner of this prestigious award presents a wonderful platform to raise the profile of your business (the media love successful women in business), and the benefit of a great network for valuable information exchange with like-minded women.â€
“Nat West is delighted to be the Title Sponsor of the Venus Awards and we are looking forward to celebrating women who are achieving amazing things in all sorts of business.â€
“The Venus Awards generate immense excitement and exposure locally for all involved and are embracing both men and women. We are looking forward to supporting the 2014 awards and beyond.â€
“We are involved in many events and this is among the very best.â€
“It’s a great vehicle to allow people to get to know each other and chat informally without pressure at the events. It was heart wrenching to choose our Finalists and then Winner…all the women were so good and had such fascinating stories about how they had built their own successful businesses.”

“Being the winner of the Green Award in 2013 was great kudos for our sales consultants to be able to utilise in their sales pitch. What better way to promote our Company, and improve sales, The Venus Women Green Business Award Winner.â€
“I felt that I have been recognised by more people, by being part of the awards and will have the opportunity to develop myself personally by finally realising that it can benefit my business by being the face of it. Even if that means I need to have my photo taken.â€
“I recommend women to join The Venus Awards as it is good press to their own business.â€
“I gave me confidence in myself to branch out on my own, I am now growing a successful payroll, accounts and pa services business called KW Solutions (Southern) Ltd. To this day I am still recognized in the street and someone says hey you won the Venus Business Award that still feels great.â€
“I believe it has helped my business and my staff stand out from the other salons in Dorset and shows us all the long hours, the tears and the heartache is worth the effort and skills we put into our role.â€
“The biggest benefit is being able to learn from what they have been doing and to see where I might be able to emulate their successes and achievements to help my own organisation.”
“Winning the Venus Award was a very important moment in my life. That was my first award that was given to me outside the nail industry, which is my passion that I managed to turn into my career.â€
“Being nominated makes you feel wonderful – knowing your success is truly recognised, and even if you don’t win, you have great fun and laughter along the way. I say – raise your sights high, get into the arena, and surprise yourself at what you can achieve. You can only benefit from this amazing experience.â€
