Local business mothers to be recognised by Heart!
Devon Venus Awards 2016 in association with Regional Partner Alexis Bowater of Bowater Communications announces Heart as Sponsor of Business Mother of the Year!
The Venus Awards are launching in Devon for its fourth year to find the brightest female business stars in the region, and are pleased to announce Heart as Sponsor of Business Mother of the Year.
Heart is the UK’s biggest commercial radio brand. First launched in the West Midlands in 1994, Heart arrived in London in 1995. The Heart sound has become the most popular in commercial radio and now extends to 33 stations across the UK, reaching more than 7.4 million listeners every week.
Heart is programmed to emotionally connect with its listeners, playing the right songs to get them up in the mornings, keep them going through the day and help them to unwind in the evening. Beyond being a well-known radio station, they also support fundraising events, such as the London Marathon, Treks to The Grand Canyon, and in 2017 a Trek of the Great Wall of China for their main charity Make Some Noise.
Of their sponsorship of the ever-popular public vote Venus Award category of Business Mother of the Year Award, Account Director Marc Ryan says,
“We are proud to support the Venus Awards once again with our sponsorship of the Business Mother of the Year category. I would like to wish good luck to all of this year’s entrants and look forward to seeing all the Finalists at the Awards Ceremony later this year!â€
The Awards celebrate the vital contribution that women make to the local, regional and national economy.
