The highly anticipated Venus Awards Ceremony was held on March 21st at The Bristol Marriott Royal where the Venus Awards finalists and sponsors were welcomed and the winners announced.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and the night was a resounding success and certainly a night remembered by all. As in other regions the Venus Awards Ceremony soon establishes itself as a must attend business social event of the year.
This was a chance for all the hardworking women in Bristol and Somerset to get together with their supporters, family and friends, to celebrate their achievements. The sponsors were all there with their own group of supporters to present the awards and to sing the praises of all the finalists.
The Founder and co-presenter of the Awards, Tara Howard said “It was an absolutely amazing night. We had so much fun with some of the winners in tears, as well as the laughter brought on by some of the sponsors presenting the awards – I could not have wished for a more incredibly successful inaugural event. I can’t wait to do it all again next year – the women in Bristol are just so inspirational.’’
Paulina Gillespie, Heart breakfast DJ in Bristol and co-presenter on the night summed it up by saying “I think the Venus Awards are amazing and I it’s definitely something we’ve needed to do in Bristol for the longest time. Tara has got it just right and has a really good idea bringing women together to celebrate each other in glamorous circumstances.’’
And the Venus went to:
