Winner-a-Day! Viktoria Baker – Winner of the NatWest New Business Award!
The NatWest Thames Valley Venus Awards in association with Marshall Volkswagen announced the winners for 2017 at the Madejski Stadium on Friday, 9th June 2017. The evening was hosted by Tara Howard, Founder of the Venus Awards and Emma-Jane Taylor, Managing Director of Nutritious Works and television presenter for That’s Oxford TV.
Yani Fernando of NatWest presented Viktoria with her Venus and said of the Venus Awards ‘We are really proud to be the sponsor of this category, because at NatWest we believe that start up new businesses are the backbone of the UK economy.’
Viktoria said of her win,
“I think it gives validation, especially for someone like me. Starting out in business you’re always looking for if you’re doing the right thing, going in the right direction, or able to give a good service, so things like this validate that.”
Yani also said of Viktoria,
“this person started this business with a vision of helping others and has made significant personal sacrifices to get to where they are today, demonstrating great self-belief and drive.”
Her husband describes her as a hardworking good Mum and wife. Describing Victoria her friends used the words definitely resourceful, good listener, good moral compass, always available family orientated.
